Parmesan fondue

Presentation

Parmesan fondue is a convivial dish to be enjoyed in company around a table. Made only with Parmesan, cream and a little pepper, this Italian dish allows you to obtain a bomb of flavor in just a few minutes with which to amaze your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of cream
  • 220 grams of Parmesan
  • 1 slice of bread
  • black pepper to taste

1 Grate the Parmesan cheese and 2 cut the slice of bread into 2-3 cm squares. 3 Then pour a drizzle of olive oil into a pan and spread it over the bottom of the pan.

Crostini preparation and fondue cooking

4 When the pan is hot, toast the squares of bread on both sides. 5 At this point put a saucepan on medium heat and pour the cream into it, 6 just before it starts to boil, pour about a third of the grated Parmesan into it.

End of cooking and plating

7 Stir until the cheese is evenly melted and when the fondue is about to boil again add more Parmesan. Repeat this procedure until all the cheese is used up. 8 Finally add a little black pepper, 9 pour the hot fondue into a cup and accompany with the previously prepared croutons. Now all you have to do is dip the croutons in the fondue and enjoy your meal!

Advise

  • If you want, try flavoring it with a little nutmeg.
