Mussel sauce

If you love the flavors of the sea but have little time to cook, I have the perfect recipe for you. Today I'll reveal a simple and ingenious trick for having a ready-to-use mussel sauce, anytime. I'll show you how to make a rich and fragrant sauce, which you can store in the freezer and use whenever you want for mouth-watering pasta. Forget the hassle of cleaning mussels every time and get ready to enjoy the sea on a plate, in just minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1kg mussels
- 2 cloves of garlic
- olive oil to taste
Preparation:

Rinse the mussels thoroughly in salted water, remove the 1 , and place them in a separate bowl. Once finished, drain any excess liquid. In a large skillet 2 sauté the oil and halved garlic cloves, then add the mussels and cover the pan, cooking over medium heat, checking occasionally. 3 all the mussels are open, turn off the heat and let cool.

4 Shell the mussels, dividing them into a pair of resealable freezer-safe containers. 5 Then, strain the remaining liquid through a sieve and 6 Evenly distribute the filtered liquid among the mussel trays. Shake the trays a little to distribute the mussels evenly, ensuring they're as immersed as possible in their liquid. Close the trays and store them in the freezer until you're ready for some delicious pasta with mussels!
Advise
- Cleaning : If they are very dirty, it is advisable to clean them with a brush before rinsing in salt water.
- Check : during cooking, remove the lid every now and then to check if the mussels are all open, avoiding leaving them on the heat too long and drying them out.
- Storage : If you put them in the freezer immediately once they are ready, you can keep them for a couple of months.
